Patent granted for GMP’s Infant Formula processing Black Box System
Date: 28 February 2014

GMP Dairy has been granted a patent by the Australian government for its unique innovation – Black Box System (Black Box For Monitoring And Tracing Sensitive Product Processing) on 28th February 2014.

In order to ensure product quality and to track any issues generated in the production process, GMP Dairy has developed the “Black Box System” to conduct all-round monitoring and to record key aspects of milk production. With the help of various data recorders, such as CCTV cameras, sensors, batch readers, X-Ray images and other measurement devices installed at all critical stages of production, GMP Dairy is able to collect all the information and data, and store in a safe location that is resistant to fire and earthquake. Information about every can of infant formula can be retrieved in minute using this patented technology to validated any consumer complaints or otherwise. The Black Box system also records humidity and temperature information for key production channels. If any of these numbers go over the limit, a warning will be sent out.

This advanced quality control system demonstrates that GMP is dedicated to its product quality and safety, and belief that success comes from innovation.
